Clocking in tells Vera you’ve started work; clocking out records when you finished. Your hours add up automatically, so there’s no timesheet to fill in by hand.

Clock in

Open Home

Click Home in the top tabs.

Clock in

Click Clock in in the top-right of the page. That’s it — you’re on the clock.
Once you’re clocked in, Home shows Clocked in since and the time you started, and your Hours today start counting.

Click Home in the top tabs.

Clock out

Click Clock out in the top-right. Your hours for the day are saved.

If you don’t see a Clock in button

Not every workspace tracks hours in Vera, and not every role clocks in. If there’s no Clock in button on Home, your workplace handles time a different way — check with your manager if you’re unsure.

What success looks like

At the start of your shift you clock in, at the end you clock out, and Home shows your hours for the day building up correctly.
